I had my week 5 doctors visit today and we are rockin' the tx at undie, got a copy of my labs just so I can sit and stare at them sometimes :-)
It definitely is a Motivator to see the "not detected".
12 weeks should be a breeze to get through as long as no infections from low neutrophils.
I just did my shot for the week, I do that on Fridays. It seems to give me a slight "buzz" or pick-me-up on the day I do it, for several hours. So I'll probably get out and walk or something.
I now have help come for about 10 hours a week, but the thing is I feel good enough to do most stuff on my own. I thought I would feel much worse than I do. Still it helps to have someone with me when I go out for a walk in case something happens and I get dizzy or something.
If it keeps going like this, the next 5 weeks will be a breeze. I always wait for the other shoe to drop, I'm afraid to be too optimistic. But I'm liking the chances of a SVR, and looking towards hopefully going back to work once this is over. I hate being at home doing nothing. It feels like being a loser when I'm not productive.
You mean it hurts worse if it's doing it's job??
I'm probably close to UD then!
jansumner55 I think Sovaldi will be just the trick to make everything work for you. Within a few months there more meds coming on board so whatever they put you on you can rest assured it will be better than interferon/riba alone.
