Went to dr on Tuesday this week. We began the insurance process for this same combo sol/peg/RIBA. So I'm really glad this thread is here. Comforting to have others to help me see what I'm about to experience.
I have great insurance so hopefully won't have issues there
I will stay I. To uh let y'all know when I start. Wishing everyone the best
Hopefully you shouldn't have insurance issues. For genotype 1 that is the accepted TX so I'm thinking you will be fine getting the meds. Please let us know how it's going, and I'll do the same once a week, probably on Fridays. That is my shot day..yay..and lab day...and doctor day...there's several others of us on the tx who report in here and all seems to be well with everyone doing this triple combo right now.
Thank you CatMagic and Erniecoolcat, and best of luck to you on Sovaldi/Olysio. That was my first choice but not happening for me, so this is 2nd best choice for me.
I pray this is a success for you, and your liver can regenerate itself.
Hang in there - I had 2 gastro's and 1 hepatologist tell me Solvaldi is like a miracle drug.......Wish they had it years ago, but so glad we can benefit from it now.....
God Bless
Just hang on and never ever ever ever Ever give up hope!!
