Well doc should tell you all this, but RIBA started same day for me.
I work 8-5 during the week and have found that if i inject Thursday nights I am feeling better by Sunday. First two days following shot are the worst for me (flu-like aches).

How is Friday at work after the shot?

not great on fridays. i often work from home that day.

I do not work but doc told me for those that do sometimes a friday shot is better sick on weekend better for work week.

I did mine of Fridays, resting for two days afterward did me good. I would also recommend evening because you sleep through any immediate sides. I took mine at 8, by 10, 10.30 I would be sleepy and end up in bed. Don't forget Tylenol prior to the shot....

I did mine Friday evening. First week not back to work until Thursday, next week back to work on Wednesday, next week back on Tuesday and it stayed that way. 4 day work week for me. As others have stated I started the Riboviran the same day as Tx. Everyone is different in how they are affected by the side effects. I have read on here that some have not missed a day of work!

my sides usually kicked in about 5 hrs after i took the shot and then the next two or three days were bad.

dont forget that you have to feel up to doing labs as well.For instance, if you do your shot on Friday night, ask for enough time off to take care of labs Friday mornings. You start your Riba the morning your begin your shots.

Q - the funny thing is I remember it to be about the same 5 hours, my warning, a tooth that has a filling in it would start feeling weird .... same tooth all the time! Strange!

Like some of the others here, I don't work. I chose to do my shots on Sundays so that I can "chill" by myself on Mon & Tues when kids are at school and hubby's at work. I have always done them at night also... usually around 6pm, so that I can sleep through some of the sides. I have also heard that for people who work, Fri night is normally best so they have the weekend to rest. As far as the pills, I started them on the same day as the shot.

i take my shots sat morning at 7 am,i take my pills daily at 7 am and 7 pm,the reasos i do this is,pills before work and after work,the shots on week end so i feel better on monday
(that is when i worked)dont missunderstand i can work just lost my job,im looking for work,hang in there,you can do this

I take mine Tuesday night, I sleep through symptoms.

I did my injections on Sunday evenings late around 8 pm because I worked everyother weekend so I had Monday and Tuesday off to regroup riba twice a day mornings and evenings and always same time..so if I was off on Monday I would set an alarm get up get something in my stomach then take my riba..............................

Fri night for me to rest on weekends and go back to work. Good luck on your journey. Find what works for you and your schedule.

For me the sides kicked in 3 to 4 hours after the shot.
