You are paying your doctor a lot of money to teach you this, but we all know how busy they are,

people on here that have actually gone through it are your best resource anyway, I just had to get that one little truthism out there about doctors.

I did mine on Friday evening then went to bed a couple of kours later and slept thru the the onset of the symptons , they lasted thru the weekend and by Monday i would feel better ... good enough to work ! Took Riba twice a day morning and evening at the same time (or as close as life would permit ) Remember to drink lots and lots of water this is very important to help clear the kidneys of the leftovers from the riba !! Take your body weight divide it in half and drink that many ounces of water during the day. I drank a gallon + a day ! GOOD LUCK !!!

lol, violett, that's funny...dr's teaching us these things? I rarely even talk to my dr, and when I do go in to see him, it seems like he's trying to learn from me about my side effects...I got the same "mile flu-like symptoms" line also, HA! I've even corrected him a couple of time because of how much I've learned here and through other websites I've studied. When I ask about my labs, he just says they're "stable". WTF is that supposed to mean?
violett's right...you will most likely learn alot more here than from your dr. I always request copies of my labs, then post them in my journal to get advice.
Don't let this scare you though, there are alot of good drs out there. I just didn't happen to get one of them.

fFiday is good as you have the weekend to lay around . Everyone is different but my sides started eight hours after I took my shot.good luck on your first shot . May you have few sides.

I take mine Thursday night along with Tylenol. Friday evenings are kinda bad and Saturdays are, but come Sunday I'm doing pretty good.

I'm not sure as of yet which day I'm going to have. I have an intense fear of needles and shake like a leaf. My doctor said she would do them for me.
