Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.

Blood labs= good
End stage liver damage, acites, enlarged spleen, Diabetes II+ nueropathy, Staph infection, low platlets.
Awaiting surgery next week for theraputic fluid removal and intravenous antibiotic therapy.
Besides that, I'm fine!!!

Gall bladder out about 6 weeks ago, feeling good but GERD is stil kickin'
Mitral Valve Prolapse - annoying but manageable

I found out tomorrow which group I fall into - continue w/ Interferon and Ribavirin for 24 more weeks or stop because I didn't have the placebo but actual Telapravir
WBC is 1.1 (still working everyday)
