Oh my god. How awful. I just can't imagine how much your family must be hurting right now. We are praying that God gives you the strength to make it through such a tragedy.

i lost a cousin at age 34. yrs later when i learned more about bipolar disorders it really helped me to understand. understanding something that doesnt reason is futile. your family sure has my sympathy.its certainly not a rational act..

Rynette, this is devastating for all of you. Everyone asks themselves "what could i have done differently?"
His mom may especially blame herself because parents "are supposed to protect their children." Yet, they don't share their innermost thoughts with us even in the closest relationships.
Your support will be very valuable to all of them, possibly a life line.
