milman, when you wrote that you liked the hippie protest songs, this was the first one that came to my mind. I hope it's okay for you - I was in the military too - 10 years - husband a Nam vet, 11B/Infantry, retired after 25 years of active duty. He likes this song - it's a heavy one for him, but ... it also makes him feel better for some reason when his PTSD ramps up. Mystery to me.
