Good luck darlin.
Stay strong!!!
sorry, I hope you are not vegan.
Seriously though I hope you get some relief from this soon.
I never had much of the butt burn thing, except for the first couple of weeks. I was und at weeks 4, 8, 12 and 16. I am just thinking that even though I had trouble eating, I must have been metabolizing the meds ok. They worked!
Feel free to google 'sugar and inflammation' or 'sugar and liver inflammation'.
Some leading scientists have done a study that was highly publicized saying that sugar is as toxic as alcohol.
I'd say eat whatever you have to to get through tx, but I'd make every effort possible to minimize sugar and refined carbs (donuts, cookies, white bread...)

And strawberries, and blue berries, and..and...
My shrink today gave me something for sleep and I mentioned I have been trying to maintain some nutrition by drinking Ensure.
She said..."OH NO, too much sugar...but at least you are getting something."
I think I will go back to making protein smooties with fruit. Especially after reading smoking Kat's post on sugar. I am vegan so I gotta watch it but oatmeal is yummy as well as oatmeal water when you really can't eat.
