Hey Girl...Im newly Diagnosed to , so I dont have much input as far as Tx. , but I go to the Specialist on the 26th for start of Tx , or blood work and biopsy...Hang in there , Im freaking out too , but this site , and the people here are terrific , they will help you with anything you ask...Stay strong

I'm new too. I've only known I'm Hep C positive for two weeks. I haven't talked to a doctor. I'm waiting for my vl and genotype results to come back. I'm pretty clueless, but I wish you luck.

Well young lady. You came to the right place. There is a lot of support here. I have tried the TX 3 times and keep coming back for more. The TX can treat everyone differently and you are another hero that can do this. Take it one day at a time. sometimes look at the clock and live for right now. you are in my prayers. god bless. You wouldnt be normal if you werent scared. At least you found Daily Strength. This site is awesome with any question or concerns you may have. Best wishes on your journey to all the newbies. There are a bunch of people here that are on treatment, are already done with treatment and waiting to see if the virus is gone, and those who have cleared the virus, and also those who have relapsed again with hep c. So you see the wide array of experience you will get on here:)

Hi Aimee, glad you decided to join us.

Here you will get great support, and meet members who are just about starting tx, and some that went thru it, and have manage to kill the beast, and some that didn't, sadly enough.

You should be grateful that you are eligible for treatment, many here can't even go on the meds, due to advance stage, so take it one day at the time.

Think of it has a journey towards being healthy again.

It is natural to be afraid, after I took my first rib I wouldn't leave the house, that I was going to have have my throat close up and everthing but nothing happened, You will do great you are young and stronger then you think

Aimee you have found a wonderful place for support. Some are just starting treatment like you, others are finished and others are part way. If you read some of the posts you will see we laugh together. cry together, and even argue (sometimes..LOL)what friends don't? Glad to have you. Welcome. God Bless!

Hi Aimee. I also am about to start treatment. There was a 45 day hang up due to trying to have my insurance approved. Am waiting for delivery as we speak and probably will start in about ten days. My anxiety keeps building up the longer I wait. I am hoping for the best, but right now nervous since I seem to be the main organizer in my family of my adult daughter fifteen year old grandson and husband. I worry all will fall apart.

Hi I started tx two weeks ago and I felt scared too, but the fear was worse then the tx. You will be ok, I'm doing ok and the Lord is tasking care of me put your trust in God and He will bring you through. God Bless.
