I have read where treatment can cause mouth sores. Has anyone experienced having mouth sores before treatment.

I got mouth sore after starting TX..My Dr. called it burning mouth..they gave me meds for it called magic mouthwash//BUT the TX has caused me to have anemia which makes it worse. keep me posted on how you are doing..Have you started TX yet?

I got mouth sores through out all my 3 TX\'s, Nothin worse than a biker on TX with mouth sores dammit!!!!!! Ask your Doc for help on this issue. Lots of water!

No I have not started the treatment yet. I still have to see the liver doctor but that\'s not until August. So these sore must be because of my teeth. I\'m going to make an appointment with my regular doctor on this. Thanks

ive been thru a radical tx and found that conciously breathing thru your mouth keeps the sores completely healed. maybe i was a troglodite, monobrow, mouthbreather all along, who knows.

I didn\'t get mouth sores but I did get thrush cause immunity is low and I got bronchitis and had to take antiobiotics which causes this while on tx or at least according to doc.

It can be treated w/a prescribed mouth wash...so if you see tongue coated in white w/tiny blisters that is probably what it is - not normal so don\'t worry about it - just FYI!

I used perxiode ----but using a good mouthwash helps prevent. They can give meds.

Before treatment, my dentist said I have lichen planus which can come from Hep C. Mine was on the back inside, both sides, it is striated. He said it was something to keep an eye on cause it could turn into cancer. I did have some yucky gel stuff to apply. Didn\'t last real long.
Just keep my mouth very clean.
Will be interesting what he says now that I am on treatment. I quit smoking over 10 years ago and mouth has greatly improved ;c)

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
