I'm all about increased cooperation and communication between all nations. Small steps. Trust but verify, etc, etc. Just look at the wonders isolation has done for North Korea and its citizens and its effect on the world. One example of many. I will always strive towards bringing all nations together as much as possible myself into the modern era. A dialogue is good place to start. I know my father was never more scared he said than during the Cuban Missile Crisis. But the times they are a changin.' I could say more but I wasn't even going to write in this thread.

Anyway I did. That's my opinion. I don't really care if someone doesn't like it. I d rather live in a world with more cool cats but that's not in my power.

I will try and leave the politics out of it, but I am hopeful that the people of Cuba who have lived for 50 years under the embargo may finally get a bit of relief.

My grandfather was 1/4 Cuban, so I guess I have a bit of their blood in my veins, although I certainly don't look it.
