Hepatitis C Support Group
Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.

Virologists have discovered that when a balanced symbiotic virus is disturbed it tends to jump species in order to survive. There are some 4000 mammal species on the earth, and 750,000 insect species. Of the mammal species, 2000 are rodents and 1000 are bats. That is 3/4 of the mammals in two families. Most viruses that jump species and infect people come from rodents, bats and primates.
This is truly interesting: there is a squirrel monkey in the Amazon who lives in peace with a herpes virus, it does not bother the monkey although it lives in the monkey. Even if the monkey's immune system is artificially suppressed, the virus will cause it no harm. This virus is in the feces and urine of this monkey, so it is liberally sprinkled everywhere in their territory. Now, if another competing monkey, such as the mormoset, tries to invade squirrel monkey territory, the virus jumps immediately. The marmoset monkey is infected and quickly develops lymph cancer and dies.
For those who cannot do Tx, or for whom Tx is not an option, or for those for whom Tx has failed, there is hope. If we can see this virus as an ally, not an enemy, perhaps we can see a way to live with it in harmony. When viruses first enter a new species they are very aggressive and try to kill off the one they have invaded. But that which does not kill us makes us stronger. And viruses are a part of our ecosystem.
Perhaps we can delve deeper into the implications here and see that HCV is our ally. If we can learn to live in harmony with it, we will be stronger for it, and it can no longer hurt us. We cannot kill off viruses, this has been known for a long time, there is no cure for the common cold, which is caused by a virus. Some people get colds all the time and others never do, yet the virus is everywhere. So what makes the difference? The immune system. Keep the immune system strong and viruses cannot destroy you.

I think we are coming to a critical mass here, where life on planet earth can no longer be allowed to continue in its present form. It's time that the global elite stop the selfish accumulation of wealth and power while stepping on the rest of us. OMG, I've been THRIVED! :-)
i know where you're coming from. there's several modes of thought about this. some say that we choose these experiences before we come to earth? and another school of thought says 'none of this is real.'
it's "a course in miracles" that says this isn't real. i'm trying to understand and assimilate this because it all sure seems real. and the pain seems really real.
i think you might enjoy "a course in miracles?" i've been studying with a group for a couple years and love it. maryanne williamson is a student of the 'course." it's helping me a lot to understand all these questions.
so now i meet with a group of about 15 people once a week and we read a paragraph and then talk about it. we share our stories. those "stories" are changing my life. so that's what i mean when i say myth. the people in the group are sharing their myth.

I have never understood how one can fight a virus that can mutate itself so it can stay in the host. I found articles on the new drugs that they are working on and how they attack the virus differently -- how they stop them from reproducing etc.. .. ..a new way of fighting this.
I am waiting to for the new kinder drugs if my body will let me. I will try all the alternative medicine until that time. MAK, you have wonderful tips on fighting this naturally, love your site! I do agree that making peace with it is best, but when the time is right, I hope to kill it off, for good!

Genotype patterns
It is believed that theHhepatitis C virus has evolved over a period of several thousand years. This would explain the current general global patterns of genotypes and subtypes:
1a - mostly found in North & South America; also common in Australia
1b - mostly found in Europe and Asia.
2a - is the most common genotype 2 in Japan and China.
2b - is the most common genotype 2 in the U.S. and Northern Europe.
2c - the most common genotype 2 in Western and Southern Europe.
3a - highly prevalent here in Australia (40% of cases) and South Asia.
4a - highly prevalent in Egypt
4c - highly prevalent in Central Africa
5a - highly prevalent only in South Africa
6a - restricted to Hong Kong, Macau and Vietnam
7a and 7b - common in Thailand
8a, 8b & 9a - prevalent in Vietnam
10a & 11a - found in Indonesia

Perhaps if we began to thrive, by going to http://thrivemovement.com and seeing how we can participate in the compassionate thoughtful changes...you've heard the saying, as without so within, or visa versa. Or Be the change you wish to see in the world. That's a good one. If you think people don't care then start caring about them!
I do think our higher energy form may have chosen this experience, however that doesn't make what we are experiencing our fault. The thought forms that came from the esoteric schools of the 80's where people would say, why did you choose to have cancer/HIV, HCV. I don't buy into that. I do believe that when life hands you a problem it also hands you the ability to find a solution.
I also vibrate to this all being an illusion, or maya, as they say in India and in the teachings of Don Miguel Ruiz. Universal Law teaches that God is Love is Law is God. It will be interesting to see where God leads me in the coming year. :-) Thanks for the info on CIM. There are a few in my area.
