I took my last shot last nite. Mucho thanks to everyone who helped me get through this. Your support and distraction was indespensable in my tx. None of my friends supported me and I only got three calls from one person out of 6000 at church. You all are my real family. Thanks and lots of love headed your way. One week of Riba-poison left. 2 weeks post treatments and feel 50% better. Luckily, I've heard from a lot of my church friends. I'm going back to a group meeting Monday after 6 Months not going to church. I even had St. Vincent De Paul call me and ask if I wanted a turkey for Thanksgiving. You'll do great!!! All the best to you!!!

Wes, everyone here is so proud of you. I'm sorry you didn't get the support you needed and deserved in the real world, but sometimes, people see us out and about, so don't know what we need. Forgive them, and remind yourself to be attentive to those who may need you in the future. Congratulations and I hope you stay around to be one of the veterans for newbies. They will need your expertise, even though your battle is soon behind you.

Way to go Wes, you've made it. Don't think too much about the folks that didn't support you. Now you know how much that support (or lack of it) can mean to someone else.

What I noticed most of my life was that there are those that talk about how religious they are, and those that never say a word, but are always there when someone needs them.

Wes, you think you have a friend until this treatment comes along to prove who is real and who is not. I had the same experience, people can be really self involved, thank god for this site! congrats on getting through this!
