I might as well write in my last week, man am I glad it's bloody over.
I was diagnosed with Fibromahalgia *sp... in 2008 post treatment anyways... and it was really acting up since the last 10 days, got some pills for the nerve pain & to help me to sleep.
Well I almost burnt myself twice this am in my bed, those bloody pills makes me so drowsy that I dropped my cig twice and didn't notice until I opened my eyes and saw smoke coming out of my blanky...he he gees heavy duty sh(t....

Then in Canada they are taking people off the oxycontin's, the Dr and patient have 12 months to heize us off.
I must admit I'm glad I will be off those heavy duty narcotic pills, if I am late 1 hour to take my dosage, I already have withdrawls..

Might be getting my Handicap Parking Card soon, between the COPD and all my other chronic illnesses, it's about time...

Now this is what I want to hear from you guys, a little venting of all that is going on medically with you individually ...

Did they give you Lyrica? My mother was on that and she could not function. At her age it was dangerous for her to be that intoxicated from a medication.

Those Oxycontin's are no joke, I hope coming off of them goes smoothly. Nothing new with me here, still waiting to see the specialist, but training for a half marathon, so feeling pretty good. Thanks for asking :) :)

Hi Mckenzie...not much happening with me. just recuperating from tx...so excited my hair is coming back. I think I may br about ready to have it colored again. I hate being gray.

I used to smoke and I used to do drugs that made me nod off. I once woke up with my comforter on fire. I'm suprised I woke up. it's a miracle I'm still alive.

Really, you must not smoke in bed!!!

Been there so many times!! OMG! Every blanket and couch I owned had burns in them! No more drugs ~ except the cirrhosis stuff ~ but i still smoke. nice to meet you McKenzie....

I've dropped in a few times but I'd like to come around more often. I'm currently on Day 2 of PSI-7977/Ribavirin. Is anyone here on that same study? Mine's a rollover from Quantum 7977/938 but I've heard there are lots of small groups doing this combo currently.

I'm on a trial as well, 7977 + BMS-790052. I was actually planning on doing Quantum until 938 was pulled and the trial was halted.

I'm not aware of anyone here on the rollover but check out medhelp.org and I'm sure you'll find people who are on it. Is the rollover 12 weeks?

Hi McKenzie, I'll spare you the smoking lecture. It was BY FAR the HARDEST thing for me to quit. Still have a bit of a chocolate habit, but nothing else for 13 years. Thank God I didn't have to get sober to start treatment. I finished 24 wks of Peg/Riba two weeks ago. I was 2b - so lucked out, I guess. I've Been UNDIE since week 4. I know I have to be patient, but I really think I was feeling better - for three days in a row. Yesterday and today especially I have felt terrible - achy, feverish and intestinally upset. (just like what the Riba used to do). Yuck! So, thanks for asking - hopefully everyone will kind of get back on track here.

Hi Mckenzie! Great to hear from you! Sorry that you are suffering with pain and I hope your docs can find meds that will help you! I am 10 months post tx...managed to get in 37wks soc but that was all my body could take...I do have a SVR and I feel very fortunate! I am having alot of vision problems and some days pain as well but I am off all meds and feeling much better than before tx! I wish you and your hubby much happiness and send my love your way! Jen

I need to start my Champix pills, and quit smoking.
This is definitely the worst type of addiction.
I am not worried about getting off the oxy's, they keep me bloated, and do not even touch the aches & pains of DDD, & headaches, so hopefully he will be able to find the right pills for each of the bobo's he he I have...

I quit drinking and all drugs years ago, but the smoke is hard...

KatAnda, this new combo treatment, do you have the ribavirin also in your cocktail....
