I'll keep it short and simple. Did the 24 weeks peg/rib and relapsed six weeks after tx. geno 2b. just not one of the lucky ones.
Today is kind of rough. I spent last night sweating out a fever and chills. Had to call in work today. Hope it's just the flu.
Don't see any new drugs on the horizon..or for that matter, even in trials for geno 2b. There used to be a cool Canadian, like you, on here who always kept me and others up on the new stuff and where to find the info. He used to post links and stuff. Great people up there in Canada..eh ......but he's gone now (booted) so I guess I'm saddened by that.
I am a smoker....please no lectures! My only vice.
Oxys are going by the wayside, huh? I guess Methadone makes sense to wean off since they're opiates. Wow, that would be a bummer.
oh, and don't smoke in bed!!!!!!
You fill in the blank. I'll hold off because I know your going through hell. Sorry things are so tough right now Goldy
I'm in somewhat same boat. COPD, Fibro, Rheumatiod Hep, Cryoglobulemia (although 6 mo. after my Abbott Trial, I have SVR) SVR hasn't, however, helped the other physical probs much at all.
I smoke too and am going to try to wean w/ the E-ciggies. Quit smoking in bed long ago. How? Bought a very expensive Comforter and set of sheets! LOL Now, we only smoke in one little room in the house. Helps cut down on the mess plus cuts down on the amt. I smoke.
Was on the Oxycotins for a long while (old version) for pain. New formula didn't agree w/ me. Weaned off. No fun but not too bad. Am on milder meds now, often, they don't help much but I don't want to live in a haze either. Darned if ya do, darned if ya don't. LOL
you must have just started on your trial, yes? I wish you the best. Thank you for your post and referral to medhelp and this seems like a good group, so I plan to hang around here for a while.
