Hey ganja...yeah, I get my labs and i don't understand how your ILB28 is 'blinded'. I knew mine before my trial. It's just a matter of a blood test for those with insurance. I think it's probably an expensive test.

This combo is not the same as the GS-7977 and BMS-790052 combo -- you know the combo that had a 100% cure rate on GT1's with little to no sides??

Gilead developed its own NS5A inhibitor, GS-5885, to replace BMS's drug.

Although 7977 has been tested quite extensively, the GS-5885 & GS-7977 combo has only just completed Phase I. They're collecting the data from Phase I right now.

Remember that Gilead was in Phase III trials 9-12 months ago with BMS's NS5A inhibitor. They could have easily continued on and been FDA approved as early as 2013. But no, instead they chose to go into a Phase I trial with their new wholly-owned combo. Gilead wants all the cookies. No sharing cookies and no concern about us.

Am I gonna take 7977 in combo with another drug to cure? Yep. Am I gonna think Gilead is a socially responsible company? Nope. But they'll make their precious $$ off me. Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's.

Gilead's announcement, "We're targeting 2014 for FDA approval" is (IMHO) just to make them look better. Anybody can say anything to keep us peasants quiet.

I was lucky enough to be on Bristol Myers Squibb and Gileads pills, No side effects and have been undie since day 9, now it is 5 months. I felt guilty for being so lucky as to be in the trial when so many others were suffering with the interferon. I did the BMS 790052 and the PSI 7977 plus ribiviron, for 12 weeks, no side effects at all. They said the Rib was not even necessary. The moment I put all of them into my mouth my viral load went from 6 million to 4 thousand. immediately. So they have the means to cure everyone.

I love your success story Crystal! I don't give a hoot who get so market first or how much money they make in the process. I just want access soon! Many of us are stage 4 and SOC has failed us. We need these drugs asap!

Kramer, she was on the trial that was subsequently cancelled. Her particular regime is not available to anyone now.

The replacement trial from Gilead just completed PHASE 1.

The replacement trial from BMS was cancelled because of the guy in Kansas dying due to heart failure.

Yes, it's lucky for Crystal. However, we're still waiting and will be for awhile. It's what everyone has been complaining about. But petitions and complaints won't reverse this. We just have to wait.

Well Ganja, we're referring to the one you were on: the Quad with 5885, interferon, riba & not sure what other one.

Then we mentioned that fucking Gilead stopped the 100% cure trial of their GS-7977 & & Bristols 790052 after Phase III so they could make all the money. I think it's awful.
