Ah, Henry, it's all right. AZ truly is one of the most RED states in the country, and I've been a Stranger in a Strange Land here for 20 years. My saving grace is that I've lived in many areas of this country as well as in Europe so have been exposed to many different ideologies and ways of thinking. You should have seen me in redneck Florida country when my dad moved us all there from PA in 1964 at the end of my jr. year in high school. They were still flying the rebel flag and singing Dixie at the football games - and I would make a big show out of not standing up and not freaking singing. I was considered a Yankee freak and at that age, it hurt. But that was long ago and far away.

I appreciate YOU and all you give to this forum. I'm one who does read all your longggggggggg ass posts - lol. There are kernels of brilliance in them.

Yesterday I was out of sorts to begin with - damn flu - so my already thin skin was almost transparent. You know what I mean. I KNOW better than to get into political discussions, so I shoulda just read and not posted.

So all is well, Henry - I think the world of you - and Cassy, sheeeeet, this thread is fine. They are all about "wander in at your own risk," Others who "hugged" me, jeez, I am really embarrassed that I acted like such a fucking five year old. Thank you though - it does mean a lot to me because you guys are really the only "family" I've got who is supportive of me in this ride of HCV.

sniff ... I'm gonna make myself cry...... ;)
