I never encountered that problem and I'm so sorry to hear that it happened to you, Susa. No one else that I have known has experienced it either. So I'm no help in this discussion. Other than to say I'm sad to hear that you had to stop tx. But better not to be blind.
Perhaps someone else here has gone through it.

I read on an alternative medicine web site that some Hep C patients are getting together to form a class action due to going blind. I will look for it and post it when I find it. I took it with a gain of salt because the web site was trying to sell something.
I too am having trouble with my vision. When I told my Dr he said or to see eye doc asap. I go to see the eye Dr tomorrow. I will post what they find.

my eyes took a real beating. a white cluster formed front and center in both of my eyeballs. almost 3 yrs post tx one of them just discharged a substance similar to a pimple. the other looks like it will do the same. my vision instantly improved in the one eye. the human body does some crazy shit. sorry you were taken off tx susa, better meds / shorter tx's are coming.

Goodoldgirl was stopped during first tx for 'wooly cotton' spots. She stopped tx and a few months in on tx again lower dosage, longer time............

i got a small growth on the left eye and it's still there. yet, my vision actally got better in both eyes while in treatment? but now the left eye is getting worse cause of the growth. i forget what the doctor called it but he said he's 'watching it.'

Thank you every one for your stories and info. I am going this Tues. to turn in my drugs and talk to the head doc. I'll let ya know what they tell me.

If you have issues with your eyes while on tx, you are to STOP IMMEDIATELY. Seriously.
Everyone is to have their eyes checked before starting tx, and you are to advise your dr if you have any issues at all while on tx.

If you experience any pain or vision changes, see an eye specialist asap. It may be only dry eyes and liquid tears can resolve that problem, but it may also be something more serious.

Remember this: your hair may thin while on tx, but grow back later. Any vision issues or or vision loss will not get you back to your vision what it was before tx. Any vision loss you get on tx is with you for life.
Take care with your eyes.

Lloyd wright, I wouldn't trust anything he says, hes a dangerous person. He just spits out things that are 90% of the time not true.

Andnicole- the link I put up was from Floyd wright web site(I think your right about not trusting him) but the link was for a warning from the FDA. Sometimes I have my doubts about trusting the FDA
My Dr is at a Liver Clinic and they never warned me about possiblities of loosing my eye sight, nor did the drug companies. I try to look at all the information I can and go from there
