Hepatitis C Support Group
Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
They recently retranslated and rereleased Christiane F. I read it 35 years ago and then forgot about her, but when I looked her up, they said she's really sick with HCV (also "mentally ill" and paranoid). If that's true, it's sad. We had one of her records at the radio station I used to work at and she looked so perky and hopeful in her pic.

Well that was one of his quotes. Okay truth be told a long time ago on a planet near Uranus, I used to be told I looked like Charlie Sheen often. Over a 1,000 times undoubtedly. This was in my early 20s so I don't mean Warlock Charlie but Major League & Platoon Charlie. I have pics that show that. It happened nightly in college when I worked at this Jewish deli next to a movie theater that I also worked at before. Major League was playing so it was non-stop. Most often they would ask if I knew who I looked like.
That being said does this count Brigid?
Ya know, I thought she looked and sounded like she had hepatitis C. My guts told me that her guts had had hepatitis C. I dunno. I kinda liked her. Is she contagious or infectious to me if I read her posts??!
