They recently retranslated and rereleased Christiane F. I read it 35 years ago and then forgot about her, but when I looked her up, they said she's really sick with HCV (also "mentally ill" and paranoid). If that's true, it's sad. We had one of her records at the radio station I used to work at and she looked so perky and hopeful in her pic.

Huh? Well anyway, Natalie Cole has been on dialysis and claims her kidney failure was a direct result of...... InterFEARon. Anyone doubt her? I sure don't.

We must remember the awesome Gregg Allman - he tried tx twice (I zoomed through his book while I was in the bookstore at LAX a couple months ago in the process of failing trial screening for the second time) - and it didn't work. Liver transplant a few years ago - still rockin' - but since he didn't get rid of the virus, that means his new liver is reinfected - probably at least stage 2 or 3 by now. NO DOUBT he's a gen 1a - he didn't write about that since most reading wouldn't know what he was talking about - but that's a Northern European if I ever saw one - VIKING maybe. I love Gregg Allman - more soul than Otis Redding.

damn, I should write a book! Maybe I will get rich and be able to actually afford my medical bills lol.
Seriously does anyone know of any memoirs of peoples real life experience? I love to read...I am going to get this Christina F. book.
