There is a lot of religious significance to the number 40.

Jesus walked in the dessert for 40 days
Lent consists of 40 days
Jesus remained on earth for 40 days after the resurrection

In the Torah, we see the number 40 again
It rained for 40 days and 40 nights
Moses was with God for 40 days

Mohammed was 40 when Gabriel appeared to him

Different cultures from Russian to Filipinos believe the spirit remains on the earth as a ghost for 40 days after passing.

Well, today I have 40 days left. I don't know what all this means, but I'm sure as hell glad it's not 41!

36 more days by the time u read this. It doesn't seem like it I know but you're OSO close.

I remember a sweet member here who finished tx before me telling me around this time (not asking lol) how it bugged to hear people say you're so close with over a month left. It did. It still feels like an eternity with a month left I remember but you've truly come so far. Can't wait for this hell to be over for you.

Should we do your shot club in hell just for shits n giggles? OMG finish already!! :-)~

Ernie, for my last shot club we will have access to a time machine. First, we will go back and pick up the 20-25 year old version of ourselves. We'll visit Times Square on New Years Eve, 2000. Maybe party Eastern European style at the fall of the Berlin Wall. Of course a visit to Studio 54, front row seats to an early Beatles concert, the Clash too (for Kat) are also under consideration. Where else do you guys want to go? Remember, the usual time/space rules will not apply for my final shot party.
