dude , u sid that u dont take med but the virus was undetectable .., did u take anything else to remove the virus ? and dont worry dude / dont skip meals . eat healthy. pls rely

nup, believe it or not since i got this virus i didn't take any anti viral meds but i am physically ok. the last time went to the doctor was i think early last year or last last year, i don't go back because i feel ok n all my blood test are normal except for my DNA level but still very low. i think i'm undetected now, i can feel it. i will go to my doctor whenever i don't feel well; it also cause me a lot of money even with my insurance. i think exercise help too.

I have tested positive for Hep B antibodies. If you ever had HepB and your body cleared it on it's own, you will still test positive for the antibodies. A also have HepC and am almost finished with triple therapy....5 weeks left. Hep C is only cleared by your body maybe 20% of the time, so treatment is usally necessary. I would think that everyone who has been tested pos for Hep B also was tested for Hep C as it is the real damage proned virus.

welcome to the group kelly. i know that u test positive for hep anti body . the anti hbsag test will be positive . but if u have the virus it will be negative.
by the way, . alt isi 65 and ast is 34. but protien has increased to 8.4 and globuin has increased to 4.2 . any idea ...

I'm sorry that I know virtually nothing about HBV. I cleared it on my own and just have the antibodies to indicate that at some time I had it, but was never sick.
My issue is HCV and I'm treating it as we speak. I'm doing 24 weeks of triple therapy and have been undetected since before week 4, with 5 weeks left of the 24 week total. My HCV doc said that I am in the 93 percitile who will likely be cured. I started HCV treatment with normal alt and ast and a viral load of 15,900 which is minimal. HCV TX usually start at about 1.5 mil VL. My reason for treating is the havoc that HCV has done to my immune system, not the damage to my liver. My Liver scores were 1 and 1 only confirmed by biopsy, but I have a totally wacked out immune system.

I hope that you are able to clear the HBV by yourself. The main thing that my HCV doc told me was DO NOT DRINK a drop of alcohol. NOT one drop and watch the tylenol. 2000 mg max a day.

If you have NOT been tested for HCV, please do so. It is far worse of a virus than HBV is and in combo, it's a real nasty bastard!

ME haven't been to the doctor for couple years, i now feel scared to see the doctor because i can feel on my body that my HBV DNA elevated but not so bad. hope all of us will be totally virus free
