helping with the housework Community Group
this is a group for those of us who are challenged by getting things around the house done....come tell us what has to be done and get support to and motivation to get that task done and brag about what you have gotten done daily! It is hard for some of us to begin an easy chore but when we are doing them and get them done do you not feel like telling someone? I do!
I got the car washed at my regular full service car wash yesterday....I had a back seat foot area behind driver seat full of cups and trash that I do not toss out of my car onto road but in there was a Tervis Cup with Cardinals STL Logo inside the plastic...these are BBB special cups that have lifetime warranty on them for any reason they will replace defective cups...but mine turned up missing today...I searched in house for it thinking maybe in sink or under table in living room...nope...I figured oh hell they pulled out all that trash and that cup was in there and went into trash can at car wash....
Later after noticing that cup was no longer in car I also noticed that the Learn to Drive Textbook that I carry in car for kids to read how to parallel park was not in car either! I was incensed....I called the Car wash and the normal cashier who loves me answered...I told her my name and she right away said We have your book...then she added and I have a cup too! I was never so happy to hear those things...I worried they had tossed my book...which is $85 book that I bought one and got the free sample one that I viewed before buying the other one to keep the free sample book....and I was thinking I would have to buy another Tervis cup....which I think run about $20....if they had not rescued me from having to purchase replacement cup....
It is nice to be a regular customer at that car wash....they are good people....Tomorrow I will pop a doggie in car...Shep will go with me as he sits in back seat only...Tucker is front passenger seat doggie and sheds white hair all over that seat...Shep being in back seat does not make any difference about shedding on seat to me...but if I need to use car for student to take driving test it must have a clean front passenger seat or they will fail the car for use in test as a dirty car...and then my student gets mad at me and I have to vacuum seat to allow them to take the test....(it has happened before and they remember me because my car is marked with the business name)
So Shep and I will go get my book and cup first thing tomorrow morning....he loves to ride in car....and sitting with head out window he is a nice doggie....

So mad at Xfinity! They're trying to charge me $115 per month for the same service I had been paying $50 the last four years. I took the equipment to UPS for shipping and cancelled my subscription today! Next door was a cookie shop called Crumbl. I had heard of it before but never went in until today. I don't need one more sugar fix, but maybe it will help with my sad) grieving heart....$15...

I know this is stupid, but after not being able to find a job after graduation for almost two years, I ended up just taking an online teaching job because I couldn't find anything in my field. I was trying to get out of teaching and I feel so devastated. I felt this crushing feeling when I signed the paperwork and when I was in the meetings. I know that sounds so dramatic but it is how I felt. It...
so what else will you be doing today.....its up to 104 today here..........yesterday I just placed myself into my outdoor recliner and sat under the tree and just gaucked at all there was to do......
Alice, gawking under a tree! Good for you! I call that taking a step back and evaluating what you plan on doing. Oooh, and in an outdoor recliner too! Spoiled woman Alice...hugs.
Anyway there were plenty of people that came to the event and I was busy busy bee....it was fun and I enjoyed a snack meal afterwards from the food the restaurants provided for the event...I ate bunch of toasted ravioli....which is a St. Louis thing...so you may not know what it is...but it is yum yum stuff...had couple fried shrimp, some kind of chicken thing that I dropped on floor and lost most of the chicken out of but ate anyway...LOL Even though it is humane society and dogs are all over the place I ate off the floors...LOL so sick I am....hahaha
had some chicken hot wings and some salami with cheese and crackers....in all it was good....and a bit of pulled pork...
most of the attendees were ladies....not too many men showed up...just a hand full
anyway I am home....have to take student at noon tomorrow....so I am watching baseball game now and ready to watch tonight show and go to bed...
