1) it is possible that you are getting TOO eager. when we start getting close, things are realllllly sensitive and too much stimulation can actually hurt, but the girl is still on the edge of orgasm and wants to finish. maybe back off a little bit when you can tell she is getting close.
2) have you tried SAYING that you want her to get off? not to be crude (i am also very inappropriate) hearing a guy say something like, "i want you to cum on my face." is not only hot, but can send a girl right over the edge!
I can only speak for myself,so I don't know how relevant it will be to the woman that you have dated. In the rare occasions that I have allowed a man to go down on me, I don't want to be brought to the point of climax. For me it is because........ok believe it or not, I would rather climax with a man inside of me. Oral is fine but for me, having a man inside of me is a hundred times better. Now there are some women who cannot climax by having coitus, so oral may work for them. But also keep in mind that climaxing is exhausting so if a woman comes that way, she may be too tired to pleasure you or too tired at the moment to have you enter her.
