I don't see much point in getting tat's that ppl have to ask the meaning of it unless it's your heritaqge.. Ppl get tat's in foreign language that's not their nationality & I wonder why ?

I think too many tat's destroys a body's image, also face n neck tat's too.

I have 1 my wife designed b/c of my nickname I was given & I basically lived to play pool. It's a tatt of an 8 ball with flames on top with nickname 'cowboy' on it.
I do plan to get 1 in the future of 2 horses mating with a mountain background.

I've seen pics of peniss ' tattooed , that had to be painful.
my wife's seen them in person.

Define "tastefully done" lol. Newdrake, if YOU like it, it makes you sexy. At the very least, it could serve as a conversation piece with a lady!

I really notice so many very pretty individuals with tattoos these days....so if I had to say something....not for me.....but the other half of this one to me is that tattoos risk diseases like hep c and aids....since they are supposed to be health regulated by cities and the health dept of that city it is supposed to be safe but there are some pretty low life people that do not clean their equipment properly and that is risky business practices....I sure do not want your cooties if it came to tattoo for me...but years ago my mom said not to get tattoo and I agreed with her....it was before tattooing was as popular as it is now....which it has risen sharply in popularity over the last ten or twenty years....
do not get me wrong...it is not for me but it is your own body and you have the controls on what happens to your own body...I just do not want a lover with tattoos....

I don't care for tattoos. Seems like mostly welfare people get them instead of spending the money on utilities and food. I work where I see so much of that.

My first one I got when I was really drunk and it is on my lower back, and I hate when people call it a tramp stamp!!! ggrrrrrrr....
I had like 10 laser treatments on it (very painful).
I would like to have a cover up put over what is left of it but it is just so expensive that I have not done it yet.
I do have a cover up on my inner left wrist that is very very pretty and I get lots of compliments on it.
But yeah if I had it to do all over again I wouldn't have the big ugly one on my back.

That being said, if you like it then that is totally cool!

I'm 47, no tats or piercing. I have always found tattoos to be a huge waste. Most of them end up in places you never see, and are often a result of poor judgment.

This Tattoo was well thought out. It's been something I've wanted for years. As for the health aspect it's from a shop that's been in business for over twelve years. Seven of those years have been in the same location. All codes and precautions are strictly adhered to. My name that my deceased mother gave me factors into this design. And as for those that do it when they should be buying food , then it's definitely not what body art is about. And if I didn't respect opposing opinions I wouldn't be the person I know I am. So by all means I do respect those that don't like them. I just hope they will show others the same courtesy.

Before the needle hits your body you can watch the tattooist open new packages of needles & other things that need to be sterile,also they will have a bowl/dish with a sanitzer in it for tools needed for your safety,,also tattooist will wear sterile gloves when needed too.
They will sanitize your skin too.

If you can't see this happening ask for it, if they don't show you, find somebody else who cares about their clients.

My reason is just personal. If you like your tattoo, that's fine with me.
