after i take all the money....there won't be anything to argue about, now will there????
:)
If one person likes to save and the other spends, that relationship is doomed.
I'm at a point in life where I bought all the techie toys I want. Now I just want to pay off debt, save, be FREE. If I came across a woman who spends every hard-earned dime I make and still wants more, sex would be over in a hurry. That disagreement would turn me off toward her indefinitely.
Arguing about anything didn't affect our sex life. We kept non-bedroom problems out of the bedroom, it was our truce zone. Words of wisdom from my grandmother when we got married, never go to sleep at night angry at each other.
No, I don't believe a relationship can survive on love alone. I think it takes a lot more than just love to make a relationship a strong, healthy one.
As of now with my partner, he has his money, I have mine and we have a joint account we use for going on vacation, dinner, movies, etc. When we're living together, we'll each have our own separate accounts and joint accounts that we'll equally contribute to for living expenses. We'll use our own money for our personal expenses.
hmm been too long to remember the 2nd one...
3., no has to be more than love.... respect, communication and sex to name a few
Therefore if money = love, well, you can see why we're all chasing money. in this world We're really chasing what we can afford to love.
True happiness, though, comes from production, creation. It's nice, too, if we're handsomely rewarded, in the form of money, for our efforts.
Sorry, rambling, just throwing thoughts out there...
My $.02 for the day.
Having to spend $1500 to have an 80 foot tree cut up, hauled away and a few other smaller trees that were taken down by a tornado plus have 2 sections of my fence rebuilt due to being destroyed by the 80 foot tree, that was out of necessity, certainly not out of love. lol
No 8, I agree somewhat, no 10, we need to talk.
I am self employed so business is up and down and I really can't depend on income. Sometimes I might tweak a few things to improve it and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I might have one good week and two or three bad weeks but if I make enough to pay the light bill on time for example, I get all excited! It doesn't take much to make me happy!
But I find that prayer works best of all. I seem to get what I need for some reason, not necessarily what I want, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
But I fee rich because I have many things that money can't buy and some I found on this site in the friendships I have made.
God Bless!
