Looking for romance and get nothing but sexual adv

I have been on a couple of dating cites, Plenty Of Fish and meetme being amoung my favorites. All I am looking for his a friend that I can get to know and just enjoy her company and see where it goes from there. I have made some friends and I have met some posible love interists. What really concerns me are the sexual advances that I get from a couple of the women that I find very attractive. I am very afraid of a sexual relationship on the first date. If they are so willing to give there selves to me, how many times have they done this before? It's true I am a flirt and I love sex but I am horrified of STDs. That causes me to pause and I go home and take a cold shower. Sometimes it's very hard to leave. I have actually had to do this a couple of times recently. I post that I am looking for a friendship first and then maybe something more as time passes. I look for women seeking long term relationships thinking that they want to take things at a normal pace, but usually all I get is some woman that wants to jump past the dating and jump on me. I am definitely not used to this and I feel like all they want is sex or they are chasing something that they had with someone else that they loved like an ex.
I didn't have much of a social life before I started online dating and I only hang out with women that I have dated online. I sort of distance myself from 2 or 3 women that wanted to have sex with me. They are attractive and I actually like them but I get to thinking about STDs and how many men that they must have slept with and it deters me from wanting to have anything to do with them. I started dating this year. It was 10 years sense I dated before then. I don't know if things have changed so much that there aren't any women that want to actually find a meaningful relationship or am I just being a prude. Should I just let it happen? I really did want to have sex with them, but I just got scared because it happened so fast. I feel like a woman lol. It seems like roles have been reversed.

There will be a second date. I just have a question. Is it wrong of me to like the fact that she gets jealous of a lot of my friends that are women because they live closer to me? I think it shows she cares and I like that. Some of the women that I talk to are we casual acquaintances and others are good friends. Am I jepordizing my relationship with her continuing to be in my friends lives or is it strengthening the bond that I have with her? Does she need to know who I hang out with? I like to be around people, I don't want to push people away that want me in their lives. I fear that I will ostrisize myself and I will end up being alone again. I don't have any type of sexual relationship with my friends. They know that I am a 1 woman kind of guy. Looking at what I have written you might have an obvious answer for my questions but it seems that there is a fog clouding my judgment.

Drew it is fine to have female friends I have more guy friends than female. You just need to reassure her that she is the one you are dating and they are not. It might take her awhile to understand this so just keep reassuring her all the time just so she feels wanted and yes she is going to feel jealous a normal reaction and to like it is normal to because it makes you feel wanted too. Lots of communication honey and things should go well. Hugs to you.

YOu aren't even on date #2. Don't get rid of your friends!!

Oh I know that. My mind wonders about what problems could emerge in the future. I think ahead and sometimes that is a problem by itself sometimes but I wasn't planning to get rid of the friends that I have made anytime soon. I also don't want to lose my good friends over any relationship unless they do something to provoke me to end it.
