This community is dedicated to an open discussion about healthy sex and sharing thoughts and feelings about sexuality and improving one's sex life. Most active adults desire to have an active and fulfilling sex life, both for themselves and also their partner. Here we discuss common sexual challenges faced by both men and women.

Though I might be proved wrong, sex, sexual actions and or orgasms release some good vibes (endorphines) that may indeed be necessary nourishment to our mental outlook on the happenings around us, not to mention, the possible pain inhibitors associated with said endorphines.
I would hope everyone who has ever had sex has felt a certain pleasurable euphoria afterwards and should not feel guilty for embracing such feelings.
As far as using someone, well it should always be consensual, maybe hiring a prostitute would be using.
Helping yourself to feel better sounds A OK. to me
I have used sex to relieve stress and tension in the past. It helps, but somewhere after I do get that guilty feeling like I've done something shameful or embarrassing - sucks. Kind of makes me feel bad about myself. This doesn't always happen, but it has happened often - especially with masturbation. I know I'm not hurting anyone etc. but I still have this stupid guilt about it. Rather frustrating.
Consensual, safe sex wouldn't make me feel bad for any reason I don't think.
