my dog is limping this morning.
seems something is wrong with his left paw.
i tried looking but i'm afraid to seperate his toe pads to look between.

i guess this means i need to take him to the vet.

i agree with itson. he may have just stepped on something outside. dogs heal surprisingly fast. have you tried lightly squeezing the paw to see if he reacts? our dog was limping a couple years ago with his back leg. he ended up having a torn ligament in his leg. but it healed on its on. even though it took a very long time.

My dog stepped on glass in my yard one time. She came running through the house tracking blood all over the place. It's happened before so I didn't really freak out. I just let her lick it and it healed within a day or so. Just make sure there is nothing stuck in your dog's paw. I think you would know though. Those things bleed pretty bad.

Reveal, use your pinky finger (assuming you do not have super crazy nails) to feel in between the pads of his feet. You won't hurt him by doing so (I do it to my dog daily just so that she's comfortable with it if I ever need to do it because she's injured).

You can also put your pup in the bathtub with a couple inches of warm soapy water to soak his feet if you think it's an issue with his feet.

If it's not his foot, feel with gentle pressure all down his leg and bend the joints. You will know which one is bothering him. He may have just turned wrong.

not sure how that's gonna work out. he still has puppy behavior.
