What is really scarey is the Candy Parties some kids are having. They search medicine cabinets or any place they can find medicine. Then they throw all the pills in a large bowl like candy and then they grab a handful and take them; not even knowing what they are taking. Talk about stupid!

Hey Lisa - you know what I used to do with my meds when my son and his friends were around? I switched the diuretic with the pain pills.(I hid the pain pills and the diuretics were in a cabinet). This way if they were peeing a lot, I think I had an idea what they were up to.

I never had a problem with the kids taking them, but my ex did, but wouldn't admit to it. There were so many red flags with him that I seemed to not realize at the time.

So these are something like the o-rings worn back in the Madonna days, huh...except we got them at plumbing supply stores and they were all black..the 80s produced such crazy styles - so opposite of the humdrum that prefaced those days. Before the 80s, if you dressed a little differently you were considered a beatnik in the 60s, a hippie in the 70s. the 80s marketers brought the styles into the mainstream and it became acceptable to wear the crazy fashions to work or wherever you went.

so, after i decided to buff my car for 3 freaking hours i decided, hey, how about a quick jog up to the grocery store? there where a few things we needed. so, jog there, carry groceries back. sounded like a GREAT plan! ....... but then i got there....and there was so much wonderful produce on sale.....5 grocery sacks that equaled 50 lbs on the walk home up-hill?........no bueno.
