Angel, I never had asthma until about 6 years ago. My sister was diagnosed with asthma around the same time as me. My 28 year old son has had it the past 2 or 3 years. Old age doesn't come alone or else there's something new in the air around here that wasn't here before.

I've heard NC is one of the worse states for asthma sufferers but when I'm at partner's in NC, I have no problems with it, never have to use my rescue inhaler when I'm there. The minute I get back to PA, I get hit hard with it again and back to puffing my rescue inhaler.

Hmmm........maybe it's psychosomatic. lol

leather------------ there may be an allergen or some sort of pollution that is setting you off at one place and not the other.

i am waiting to see how my kids are doing today. an old friend of mine has tickets to the circus, but it is a bit of a drive and i obviously do not want to make it unless the kids are 100%. my daughter is in the clear...it is my son that i am worried about. i would love for him to go. last year he was sick too.

That's what I'm thinking Des, just can't figure out what it is. I've lived in the same city in PA for 54 years but something new must be in the air.

Maybe even get your home checked out for alergens. Check the duct work and, if you have one, the crawl space.

I noticed a remark made to somebody that said 'people who leave this site and then come back under a new username are deceitful'. Because I did this I wanted to say I hope nobody feels that way about me but if they do than they do. I wouldv'e identified myself when I returned to this board under a new name if not for two facts-I was embarrased that I left in the first place over something silly and didn't feel like making an announcement of it and -I know from associating about in this forum that people here are sharp as a tack and could recognize my writing style. I needed to make this statement for what it's worth. Thank you.

Thank you. I try to be a positive presence on this thread and if I am not that at all times it is because of the trolling that goes on but I had no intentions of being deceitful. I appreciate those of you that don't perceive it that way.
