Healthy Sex Support Group
This community is dedicated to an open discussion about healthy sex and sharing thoughts and feelings about sexuality and improving one's sex life. Most active adults desire to have an active and fulfilling sex life, both for themselves and also their partner. Here we discuss common sexual challenges faced by both men and women.
on a side note, yesterday we were up at the school. my daughter has a friend that waits with my daughter and which ever parent shows up first waits until the other gets there so the kids arent standing alone. my daughter friend has an older brother who loves to play with my son.
well, friends mom shows up (who has become a good friend of mine because of the girls) and we are standing, talking, watching the kids play for a few minutes.
the school has a circle drive where you can pull in off the main road. there was a woman who had stopped and was loading 3 little boys into the car. after they got in? she freaking floored it and peeled out. she slammed on the brakes after about 30 feet, which had her stop right next to us and you could see that she was very irritated about something. then she drove away.
I was in total shock! i understand having a bad day, i get that, i have had my fair share. but under NO circumstances is it ever okay to 1) peel out with 3 children in the car 2) peel out in the drive to an ELEMENTARY school that has 2 cross walks going through it at dismissal!
some of the staff came over to get the story of what we saw. they know who the children are, but they think it was a BABYSITTER who was driving. omg. i would be beyond livid if someone was driving like that with my kids in the car!
Oh yeah, that would have had me livid too. No matter how bad of a day someone might have had or what's going on, there's no excuse for it.
I got a warning once for getting to close to a bus who had just put it's lights on as I was pulling into a parking space.
Des - I am so proud of you - and I love the support you are getting from your daughter!!!!!!
@scteach - where have you been? I have missed you!!!!
It makes me realize how easy my life is, and it really puts in perspective how even if I'm having a terrible day there is always someone who has it much worse than me.
I'm so PROUD of a complete stranger. It really just hits home.
What she taught me was how to describe - When she was around I couldn't just say, it's a pretty day out - I would explain it to her - What made it pretty - the color of the sky, the size of the leaves on the tree, etc. It taught me to see much better. She taught lots of us to See..
If we would all be talking about something - such as a ring, she would say - let me see it - at first we were like - ok? and she would take the item in her hands and feel it - She saw it then, very well and she would describe to us what she was feeling.
She knew her way around the campus very well - except when she was drunk..but I don't think any of us saw too straight when we were drunk.
I always found her a great inspiration..and she was a great biology tutor too.
we adopted my lab from the pound and her name was blair. But we already had bear at home, so obviously that wouldnt work! poor dogs would have been so confused. So we renamed her bonnie. It has always suited her so well and she responds to it well.
My mom adopted a dog named winnie, but she renamed her penny.
we kept our new dogs name as clara. it just suits her really well.
Names:
Rummy
Beni
Bunny
Lemmi
Perri
I think she would respond to 2 syllable names.
"We have your daughter. If you want to see her again... well, wait till 2, I guess. Or 3. Maybe 4. No later than 5. Or 6."
They dropped her off at 5:30 lol
I thought the maintenance was done this morning.
Again I'm lost, thought it was the weekend
