I don't eat the heel, I don't eat bread. This girl is gluten free! Actually I miss bread...a lot. But gluten intolerance makes it a little hard on the bod ;)

Of good bread, yes. Of store bought bread, no. I dice up the ends and make homemade breadcrumbs out of those end pieces.

Speaking of wasting food - sometimes I feel when I buy food, I should just bring it home and throw it in the garbage instead of waiting the 2 or 3 weeks for it to go bad in the refrigerator. I've cut my buying back next to nothing and it still happens.

eat it...I buy a higher end prepackaged 100% whole wheat bread.
I enjoy it toasted w/ peanut butter.
Wonder if a guy could ever get a boner for a pizza?

Ok MsViv, that must be where it comes from, NY and/or NJ. I never heard pizza bones before I met Scott, he's originally from NJ.

I've never heard it called pizza bones either. I call them the crust. Or the ends. And that's my favorite part too. Especially when dipped in ranch :D

Oh I should have first asked what is your definition of " bread". Lol
I don't consider the fluffy square loaves in the grocery store to be bread so I never even think of it . Definitely will not eat the heel on that stuff... It is quite repulsive tasting, but I have toasted it and used it for crumbs at times or to make some sort of crust for my egg pies.

I sometimes make french toast out of the heel so as not to waste it.

    So mad at Xfinity!  They're trying to charge me $115 per month for the same service I had been paying $50 the last four years. I took the equipment to UPS for shipping and cancelled my subscription today!  Next door was a cookie shop called Crumbl. I had heard of it before but never went in until today. I don't need one more sugar fix, but maybe it will help with my sad) grieving heart....$15...

    check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
