I know this has been asked before, but seeing as how there are several new faces why not rehash it

Ladies and gents, how soon does sex come up in conversation with a would be potential mate, 1st date, 2cnd

same audience, would you prefer a no nonsense approach in regards to a sexual relationship, that is, would you prefer knowing upfront what was expected or accepted as OK behavior in regards to sex?

I think that most of the guys I have been on a date with prior to the date we have had some lengthy conversations over the phone. I am an open person and I have been told many times that I am very easy to talk to. I like to get an idea of what a person is looking for before even going on a date. If he is just looking for a role in the hay... I am not interested. He can save his money, his time and mine. If I really like him and I feel comfortable talking to him about personal stuff; I have no problem discussing likes and dislikes with him.

A potential partner, the sooner, the better. I don't want to waste my time or his if we're not on the same page with what we want and need in a sex life.

It depends on the woman I am with. The first two dates are kind of "get to know each other and drop little sexual inuendos, etc. But I hope that by the 3rd date we are able to start a sexual relationship. I don't mind if the woman is ready on the first date though... What I hate is when you are dating someone and you find out they are "Nuns" (Don't want none, don't need none, and you sure ain't gonna get none). I drop them as soon as I can.

I know the old crap about if a woman puts out on the first date or first couple of dates that the guy will dump her, but for me, her willing to have sex as soon as possible makes me want to keep having a relationship with her because she is a "keeper"...

Kind of a moot point now that I am married but back when I was single that was my thoughts on the matter.

I never bought into that *too soon to have sex* crap either Gomez. I had sex with stbxh the 3rd time I was with him (was wanting it the second date but we didn't have the time). My partner and I had sex the day we met in-person, we spent a week together (24/7) the first time we met.

For me if a guy has the "it's okay for the man but it's not okay for the woman" double standard bs attitude then he is NOT a guy I would even consider getting into a relationship with.
