God said when you least expect it... So the old woman cleaned up her home and cooked a good hot meal.
The first knock came on the door... It was a young man.. He said.. I'm sorry to bother you but I have been walking so far and hope I can have a glass of water.
The old woman snapped back and said WHAT? look you got to go because. I have Jesus coming and don't want any dirty dishes. The young man was saddened by her harshness and he left..
The next knock came it was an old man and he looked poor and hungry. He said mam May I please come in and have a bite to eat .. See I have no money to my name and I'm so hungry and your dinner smells so good. The old woman snapped and said oh Noooo... You can not come in and eat.. This meal I have is for Jesus. You see he's coming to visit with me and if I feed you I won't have enough.
The Old man saddened and heartbroken at the old ladies meanness he shed a tear and left..
The third knock came. It was a middle aged man. He was dirty and had stained clothes. He said hi mam I been working hard all day. I was hoping that I could come in and take a rest for a little while.
The old woman got to hollering. Not like that with those dirty as sin clothes your wearing. You see Jesus is coming and I spent all day cleaning my house. If I let you in... It's gonna get dirty. The man hung his head in shame and walked away.
Well the day finished and the old woman was like God Why didn't Jesus come? What did I do wrong? A voice replied back... I came three times and you refused to let me in....
