Would he be considered a gold digger or just a mooch?
*shrugs*
I guess neither. At least he payed for the fast food, and afterall, they went in and everything. Not just a drive-thru date. :)
Okay, question: Would said girl be considered high maintenance if she was dissastisfied by his actions?
Guess so.
I guess I needed to hear that.
Don't want any of those.

Healthy relationships that only help each other...
Yes, money does matter to an extent in a relationship. For many anyways. Each person decides what they can and cannot live without. For me? Well, theres me and 4 kids. Granted, I would get a small amount of child support, but if I feel me and any potential partner would be struggling down the line, (and I've already had one marriage go bad in large part to low finances over the years), then I'm gonna say, "Why bother?"
With that being said, I will say this. I do look at what the guy wears, sure. Who doesn't? But its not always the name brands he wears, but how he is put together. Now, my idea of put together and his idea of put together may be 2 different things. One woman may think he is, and I don't. Its different for everyone. If he dresses nice (and I don't mean name brand, I mean not looking like a bum or slob), then he will catch my eye. Again - EVERYONE has a taste and it is all different.
On the other hand.... if I see a guy in a business suit and huge namebrand watch and briefcase, he- to me - would be intimidating. I would not click with him probably as well. Because I can't afford the name brand stuff and have learned to buy offbrands on alot, so I wouldn't go there either.
I think its just different for everyone based on their taste and what they have been through in their life. That is, after all, all we have to go on.
