I disagree with you paulbear,,like me,,there are many looking for the right man,,money or not!!! To me it is immaterial,,i want a man to love me,,not one who braggs about how much he earns,,with no personality!!!

great question Toss !!!....I have worked with credit...for the past 17 yrs....and it's a conflict of interest for me...where I work at...if I cant keep my own finances on track...when I am advising others ...on how to straightem theirs out...with that said....lack of money...in a relationship...from what I have seen and dealt with...causes problems in a a relationship....the tension...stress and uncertainty is there....loving someone is great....but if they arent financially stable...to me...its a risk....it takes a long time to fix your credit...once its messed up...and if you are married...in certain states...the credit history of your spouse can affect yours....this is just my 2 cents worth...not trying to be negative.....

Chameleon77 you are right there I am a smart ass..can't argue about that...But you can't speak for all women and especially women here in America.

If women really are that obsessed with finding a man with money, how come the above-mentioned wasters in bands can always seem to find some woman who's prepared to bail them out when they're threatened with eviction and keep them fed?

Well there are all sorts of endless possibilities of different experiences..But what are saying is not generally true. Men typically have a higher earning potential than women. And I am only speaking in the general in my advice here. Cynical doesn't really play a part in my advice..

Nope, as long as they aren't lazy and can't hold a job because they aren't responsible enough to be able to get up and go on a daily basis. Money doesn't buy happiness. I'm just glad that I got the best of both. Granted my hubby isn't rich, but he brings in sufficient enough income and still loves me even though I'm a moody bitch..
