SO do just women get upset at this or would you men feel the same if you had this happen in reverse? Or would it not bother you to hear and or see your girl/wife checking out hot guys?
Anyone?
There are times it might bother me however. If her and her sister did it all the time or went into prolonged discussions it may annoy me. It may also seem disrespectful in certain company.
Finally, after a billion talks that didn't sink it, I turned it on him. We would be in the mall and a guy who was even mildly attractive would walk by and I would blatantly check him out and make a comment about his butt or something loud enough for others to hear. I would nudge my SO and point out these men. He got the hint and finally we had a talk about it where he listened.
Now he is more discreet. He still does it, but I'm sure he thinks I don't know that. And I also had to let myself lighten up. When the three of us go out I point out girls. John(his pal) noticed that as a woman I could tell him more about a girls personality by just looking at her. Not always right, but right way more often then my SO was.
So both of us had to bend. It is something I have come to terms with, and he has realized just how much it hurts me when he makes those comments so he is doing his best.
