He also wrote something about the "Five Languages of Apology" (I might have the name mixed up a little).
THAT has helped me identify what I couldn't put into words, as most important after a disagreement.
Disagreements occur (whether with a spouse, coworkers, etc,). If you feel slighted, the type of apology you are needing may be lacking. Apologies help repair the rifts formed and are tremendously necessary.
I would encourage anyone to read his writing. It's quite easy and quick, and even had an online questionnaire to help pinpoint your preferences.
But no.... I would say how you wrote it... it would not be healthy. Look into Chapman's writings. It might be a good conversation starter???
