She sounds very young, given the fact that she doesn't even know how to flirt.
Just saying.
Dreamyhope you don't have to watch porn or emulate a porn star.
Be yourself and you'll attract the right people into your life. Your confidence will grow the more you realize how much and what you have to offer.
So funny because right now you couldn't GIVE me a boyfriend. I dont need the aggravation:)
dreamy hope - just focus on being yourself and being comfortable with who you are as a person. If you like a guy, find something to strike up a conversation about or compliment him about something. Not sure how old you are but as stated above, don't rush it. If you are young concentrate on hanging out and being friends with people. You'll end up meeting lots of different guys throughout life and as you mature (hopefully I'm not being condescending!!:) you'll see that these things have a way of working themselves out naturally, as long as you're comfortable with who you are:)
I think sometimes, you may find guys are flirting with you but you're oblivious. That's actually how I was (and I think still am). When I was single, I had no idea when someone was flirting with me or interested in me, unless they like, grabbed me by the face and yelled HEY I LIKE YOU. Otherwise, I was a moron with that stuff. So some of it may be that guys do like you but you're not tuning into their cues.
Do not watch porn to figure this stuff out, unless you're looking for tips on how to bang the pizza delivery man.
Always smile. People gravitate toward happy people. Showing your teeth is a sign of openness and receptiveness. On the flipside, smiling without showing your teeth keeps things cordial and platonic. I save those for the ones I know I'm not interested in.
Lean forward towards people you speak with. It shows interest in what they have to say. If you're close enough to lean into their personal space, it shows intent. If the pull away, then back off. If they don't, then kick it up a notch with a little body contact - hand on shoulder/arm/thigh. Leave it on there for a few seconds, maybe rub it a little, again to show intent, all the while smiling.
You work out, so you feel proud of your body, but do you feel sexy? When I feel sexy, I feel like I can conquer the world. Gives me the confidence to take the lead, and if I have to, ask someone out. You might have to do that, because after doing all this, some people are still too dense to figure it out. Good luck. I hope this helps.
No need to watch porn or ask a guy out
Just be happy with yourself go out with your friends smile enjoy and he will show up
About a couple of months ago, I was asking how to get a boyfriend.
Now, there is this guy at work, totally cool and handsome hunk :P
Hmmm, at first, when I met him, he introduced himself to me, boast a little bit about himself and I strangely, I found that quite funny since no one has ever come forward and introduce himself to me. Ok, that was totally normal.
Then, we had to decorate the office for a special occasion, so I volunteered as I love doing these creative things. He helped enormously, well, actually he did the most difficult part. He accompanied me to buy decorations, hang all the decorations everywhere I asked and also even if very tired, crafted some art work.
That was about 2 months ago. I talk to him like I will talk to everyone else. I am not too used to that sort of behaviour so I cannot say for sure if he is interested. Some symptoms or clues could be :
1. He looks over to me while I am talking to someone.
2. His body language makes me feel aware, he likes to be very close to me when we are walking side by side; sometimes he brushes against me while we are walking since he is very close. I do not know but I do not feel like puling away. If he needs to tell me something, he will come very near. Sometimes he will put his hand on my shoulders if he is talking to me. Oh god, only writing about this makes me crazy! Well, there are a few others anecdotes I am not remembering right now.
3. I can sense a feeling of jealousy. For instance, everyday there is another guy (just a colleague) who will accompany me to move my car since the parking lot is so far. He also puts his car in the same parking slot but since I am used to go to move my car with the colleague, I find that normal everyday. Yesterday, I know he saw going with him and in the evening he made this remark which made me think a lot and just affected me through the whole night. Obviously, it was a very mean comment. Therefore, maybe he is jealous and just wants me to go insane. At night at about 1 o'clock since his reactions were still bothering me, I sent him a Facebook message; a silly one, asking him for his help for x mas decorations. He said he does not promise me anything and I replied I am positive and we will speak soon. **Sigh** He is surely successful in whatever he is trying to achieve (My attention)
4. One time I was really down and stressed out, he reached out to me and tried to cheer me up. I felt he was very caring and wanted to help. Actually he is really morally supportive.
However, since some days I am finding myself confused and going insane from his reactions.
Sometimes he is very nice and sweet and lately he has been a lot mean and somewhat rude in his talks. I think I know why, since he saw me giving the other colleagues more attention and maybe not the same to him. Or he does not want the same but more. But how could I possibly be sure since he is not saying anything and I do not know much about him.
That might be his usual thing, maybe he is like this with all the women around him. Anyway, I try to notice him at times, he is very friendly around everybody else, only me, well he is friendly but now more on the mean side. This part really affects me. When alone with him, he is the sweetest person but with hi friends around, he will sometimes tease me but more complain about how I am (i think he might be referring I will look out to him only when I need him)
One time he said, i did not compensate enough for all the hard work, obviously I found that funny at that time but I asked him what do you want. This time there were a lot of colleagues around, so they made fun but he replied: "Now we are talking"...I kind of blushed at that time and did not know what to reply.
All that said, on my side, I think I attracted to him but not sure whether this feeling is genuine or because he is making me crazy that is why I am feeling like this. No one has ever made me felt so.
Now how do I handle the situation and how could I get his attention or give him more attention without being perceived as a freak.
Moreover, I am to shy :(
Thanks.
Dreamyhope, I can tell by how you write that you are a young woman, and perhaps in your tweens. There is plenty of time for boyfriends; to lust after them the way you seem to is not something a young girl needs to place a lot of energy on. It may be fun to think about, but playing wicked games with it, will mess up your young mind. Place your energy on an education, on filling your life with things that interest you, that don' t include boys and porn (giggle), and I guarantee you, eligible men (note the word 'men', not boys) will seek you in due time.
Generally when a young woman goes about presenting herself to men in the way you describe, it attracts the wrong types, and this unhealthy cycle can domino throughout her relationships. You're setting up all sorts of frivolous and deviant scenarios in your mind that you seem to relish in playing. Making men jealous as a way of attracting them to you is base and unattractive, and it's exactly the type of man you'll draw to yourself. Also, messing with male coworkers in the workplace, in the way you describe, can land you a laundry list of nicknames your coworkers will relish in gossiping about. Don't be that silly little girl, it's a lonely place to be. Have some self-respect, and everything else falls into place.
Have you thought of using your Journal to write these things out for your friends to read, comment on and follow?
Giving juvenile horny-guy advice, just to be provactive, is laughable. Sorry, but it is.
