hi guys so im not in a relationship but ive stepped into the dating pool. for like the very first time kind of. ive never dated guys just had relationships with them which was my mistake cuz i always jumped too fast. now im 23 and i just want to get to know people and see if i would want a relationship with them. i went on a date with this guy last night it seems like he has some issues to work thru from past relationship/hurrts in life but so do i. thats why im not ready for a relationship. im working thru some deep crap right now. getting better yes. improving my self esteem and going with the flow of life.gaining self confidence and forgiveness and letting the past go. not easy sometimes it comes to bite me when i least expect it. thats my triggers. but this guy is super sweet. and we have a lot in common. hmm. hes a wrestler, and loves adventure maybe a little too much?? like i worry about his safety i guess. but thats on him i guess. i think he has ADD and a little bit of anger issues. but it is healthy he is into fitness and wrestling. another guy i dated he took things fast and wanted a relationship right now and i didnt. we didnt have important things in common like i think i do with new guy. it just wasnt right so i talked to him about it. i guess i am hurt about it tho cuz my expectations were too high but now i kind lowered them. i did have fun last night. we got locked in a park and had to get the police to get us out. we took a walk on the canal (a very long walk) had garbage plates, and fed the ducks. we ended up holding hands it felt right. however, i know we both arent ready for relationships.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
Easy does it, Ello. Sometimes it's nice to *just* have a gentle companion to share garbage plates with.
Online dating I'm sure has it's difficulties ...... I would just take it slow as you wrote
Two people I know well met their significant others/husbands online and have great relationships however there were some duds first
I would make sure that you're safe when first meeting people online..... Be in public places
Gentle hug..... Meeting new people takes courage..... Good for you in getting out their even to just go out for a nice lunch is cool!!....xo
