Hi. I'm new to dailystrength. Just joined today. I joined this particular group because, well, I don't know how to build healthy relationships. I can't afford to go out to meet new people, so I've been looking online for the last few years. With a few exceptions, this hasn't gone well for me. I've met people, but really none of them where "quality people". I'm not a snob. I don't consider myself superior to anyone. That said, I have standards for the kind of people I want to socialize with. So, my struggle is that I'm a very sexual person, and anytime I meet an attractive woman online, only seeking a platonic relationship, I just can't help but try to pursue a sexual relationship with them. Hell, the last girl I met is married and has a child, and, despite our both seeking a strictly platonic relationship, we ended up sleeping together and developing feelings for each other. Now, I've stopped talking to her, because it was just too hard to want someone whom I couldn't have. That, and I didn't want to break her family up by fucking up her marriage. So, this is my struggle. Anyone else in the same boat?

Here is my new brother, copper :) He's so tiny! Moo and Tuck were ok with him on first meeting. Rocket due to his severe aggression will never meet Cooper.

You though may want to just dig a little deeper. You’re right you don’t need to do anything. You have a choice in how you want to live and act.
Chem, I think because cheating is such a hurtful topic, its easy for that to come out in an online forum. We are here to support each other and I think everyone alive can relate to doing something they realize is not a good thing and working to change it- that's an awesome direction is it not??
