I am a guy who enjoys having friends around. I have made a couple of friends that kind of make me feel uncomfortable at times. Gay sexual inuendos and 1 jokingly pinched my ass and I punched him in the face.
1 is gay and the other is bi. I'm kinda the center of attention because they like to annoy me. I'm a bit of a homphobic person. I don't try to be but that's the way I am. They pick up on that and I've told them that I really hate the constant talk about gay shit. Oh yeah the bi 1 really gets annoyed by anyone calling him bi. He says he's straight and that a couple of Dicks in your mouth when you were younger doesn't make you gay.
I don't really know if I can call either 1 of them a friend.
I had friends in the past and we didn't make each other feel uncomfortable.
I have nothing against gay or bi people but I'm not gay or bi.
What I can tell you that's good about them is that they both can be good friends. They have helped me get on my feet. They can both lend an ear when I'm down. They are both decent individuals.
I don't want to kick them out of my life, I just want a little respect.
I don't have anything against gay or bi people.
I do hate the constant gay talk. Flirting with me and saying perverted shit.
They do it to get a rise out of me and to just piss me off.
I'm tired of it.
I tell them to knock the gay shit off.
I'm not telling them to stop being gay but to respect me enough not to incorporate me in their jokes.
I feel like I'm whining but shouldn't they respect me more and leave me out of the conversation.
They can talk about what ever they want and I'd be fine with it as long as the conversation doesn't come back to me.

Many of you know Mr K told me to "shut your mouth" in March 2025 when we took a road trip to Alpena Michigan. Since that time, we have had lots of ups and downs but I have never intentionally hurt Mr K in anyway. And when we first started dating in 2024 he let me know, although he is an engineer by degree, he has an extremely low EQ. Overall, he is ok (not off the charts nice like other guys in...

I'm sorry if this post offends anyone.
I guess I'm wondering if these people are good for me.
Am I making a big deal out of nothing. I don't think I am.
I think things have gone to far and I may gently push them both out of my life.
the hitting on you and directly making inuendos to you and even pinching your ass.. that is over the line,. that is when it becomes disrespectful.
i would seriously say you should sit down and have an honest and open conversation with them. i would tell them that you feel extremely disrespected wen they hit on you or touch you, that youve made clear your sexual preferences and the unwaranted advances are just plain ignorant and that it can cause you to sever ties if they cant respect you in that way.
as far as the jokes ( if theyre just gay in general not directed at you ) thats not something u can get them to stop or even demand they do.. straight people make straight jokes and everyone laughs, why cant they laugh at a gay joke?
if gay people make you uncomfortable then u probably shouldnt hang out with them. i understand you said u have nothing against them but to say :" hey man stop with all the gay shit" .. that isnt cool and will come off to them as though u do in fact have a problem with gays. I am not an expert and im straight ( well i used to be bi but got tired of it ) ... but its my opinion that a gay person is born gay, its not a choice they have made its just who they are and cant be changed just cause some people dont approve or cant deal..
supporting this statement... my ex husband had 2 children with another woman before me.. they were both boys. when i got with him they were 3 and 4. we used to sit and make jokes about the 4 yr old one because he always "acted " girly and like we just kinda knew he was gonna grow up gay ( thats what we would say and laugh about ) ./ hes an adult now and is very much gay. and a cross dresser.. so this is one of the reasons i strongly believe they are born that way.
good luck
When I say enough of the gay shit it's when they're directing it towards me. I can laugh at some of the stuff that's said but I can't say that I can at all of it. Alot of it is disgusting. Alot of what's said is in great detail and it bothers me because of how graphic it is. It's not always gay stuff. The bi guy considers himself straight. I'm a bit of a perv but they make me look like a saint. I think a lot of what's been said and I can't really talk or joke about anything sexual anymore. They sort of fuced that up with the constant teasing.
I know that i can pull back and not be around them as much.
I will be kind to them, just not around them all of the time.
If you were female and these gents were doing this it would be called harassment.
You have the right to say that if they do not knock it off, your friendship will be over. I wouldnt put up with this crap.
My experience with gays and their "perv" sense of humor is that they like to "shock" straight people. They must think that after all these years we don't KNOW what they do with each other? LOL. Some of them appear quite immature. But as the other posts have pointed out, some straight people harass and are very inappropriate, so don't take this as "gay bashing".
You have every right to be upset, but a different approach might be more successful. Tell them you feel disrespected and harassed and their behavior is no more acceptable than a man harassing a woman and you don't want to be in their presence if they keep crossing boundaries. Don't mention 'gay' just focus on the harassment. If they don't get the point you need to distance yourself from someone who doesn't respect you.
They've helped me out a lot but it's not like I haven't returned the favor.
Friends have boundaries.
The guy who is bi wants to be best friends. I've told him that friendships like that take time to develop. I can't just say hey I think you're the best friend I've ever had. Stuff like that takes time to develop.
I think that I'm a very kind and caring guy that people like to take advantage of.
I think I might need to change a bit.
Koolman I don't know if that would work. Lol
