So I have been dating "P" for almost 5 years now, him and his buddies recently went out of town for a bachelor party of sorts. I asked if there would be female entertainment and he said no swore up and down. However I come to find out there were dancers and the like at this party. And I have proof of it. However when confronted about it he remains adamant thst nothing happens and there were no girls at their cabin. I know he's lying to me and I hate it. I just want him to tell me the truth. In my mind if your lying about it something bad must have happened up there..and ever since I've been paranoid that he cheated on me....how should I go about this situation ?

Life has been really hard this past year. I'm really feeling down and alone. I can't talk to my family about my depression and anxiety their not very understanding about it. It's really hitting me since my mother passed a few months ago, plus stress from having to eventually move. Also having my niece coming around who suffers bipolar and refuses to take medication for it. Its been...
If he continues to deny it even when faced with proof, then I think you have a problem
It may be as simple as he didn't want to argue however once someone lies it's hard to trust anything that they say...
Five years is quite a while to be dating and if you can't trust someone when you're dating the future looks grim ..IMHO.... I hope you can open up some lines of communication.... big hug....xo
It's not about the strippers. It's about trusting each other and not lying to each other.
If you let this one go, you are giving him the green light to continue doing these things and lying to you about it. If he did cheat, cheaters lie, and they don't tell until you show them the smoking gun. Come over to the Infidelity board and post the same thing and see what sort of replies you get.
Like you said, he's been to parties where there were dancers in the past and he's told you about it, yet this time he said there weren't, and you know there were, so why lie about it?
I would do more digging and see what you can come up with, but for me this would be deal breaker.
I wish you well.
