No relationship is perfect. A long-term relationship requires constant effort to understand each other, fix misunderstandings, solve problems and continue to grow as both individuals change and evolve. How we deal with our misunderstandings is the focus of this community. Join us to find support, get advice, and share your experience with your relationship.

how long have you been in the relationship?
Do you both work?
Doth you both work out?
are there children involved?
are either of you married?
when was the last relation ship for both of you?
What are you hobbies?
what are her hobbies?
I think you just have to be very direct with her but calm and tell her when she does that how it feels to you. Don’t let her off the hook by letting her change the subject.
I’m not sure how someone can be your soul mate if they are emotionally closed off to you and shuts down when you want to have a conversation about your relationship?
