i broke up with my emotionally manipulative husband . i stayed with him for six years suffered emotional abuse could not take it any more and ended it after six years.i never loved him because he lacks humanity.he is worse than a devil.i lived with him fearing if i broke up with him i might not find another life partner and i have daughter aged 4yrs i thought i might not be able to take proper care of her with out him .but that human devil had abandoned my little daughter . i tolerated my ex husband for the sake of my daughter.hence i ended that relationship for ever.the problem here is my mind keeps thinking how my life is ruined bythat callous idiot(my ex husband).i dont want to think about him im becoming mentally sick unable to forget the torture, humiliation ,abuse, done by him .i want to erase him from my memory .forget that iwas married to such idiot.all i want is to live in peace.forget that such person even exists. please can any one tell me a mind tactic ,technique used to erase memories.or are there any medicines or herbs available that help us to erase tormenting memories.please all of you try and understand i feel sucidal .cant take this torture any more.i lost grip on my mind.no matter how hard i try memories of past torment me . i am not recalling any thing intentionally but mind thinks about the torture all the time.what is wrong with me?am i becoming mad?

We all have 24 hours in a day. How we spend these hours is important. Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do. Gonna have to work on that.Your turn. Tell me another truth.
I think what you may be dealing with may be depression, but I don't know. Do you have access to doctors who help people deal with depression or access to social programs that help women who've been emotionally or physically abused? I think you may need to seek out some professional help , but I know that's a challenge because of where you live and that there may not be a lot of options in terms of therapy. But I think reaching out to your medical doctor could be a start, He or she may know of some resources available to you.
The universe brings to us what we think about, so you may have to help it a little and when you do have mad thoughts, find something pleasant to distract you with. Climb out of your emotional woe, and don't let it keep you down. Sometimes you have to fight it as if it were a little entity of its own.
Remember your daughter, she's going to need you in her life.
