I saw another post here about dealing with a narcissist but I am wondering if any of you can share your stories of living with one? Also, I read something about sexual narcissism, anyone have any experience with this as well?

That is so true. We had an argument earlier in the week regarding cleaning mainly and then i started to pull back and said nothing more about cleaning and all of a sudden yesterday and today he has done more cleaning than he has in months. It is so hard not to get sucked back in to thinking things may finally be changing. I know damn well they aren't changing. Not long term anyways. I just need to keep myself going because I truly see happiness in my future when I break free of him.

It's terrible to be with one. My ex fit the bill to a tee. He controlled where I went, convinced me my friends were all bad people, picked fights with me and then turned it all around to be my fault, called me crazy when I disagreed with anything he did, and it eventually moved to abuse. He even started picking on the dog because she began to prefer me over him. It truly does suck the life out of you. It's been a few years and I still hate him for all that he did.

Hello! Okay, so narcissistic people are horrible people to be around. Sometimes they can even be cunning, baffling, subtle and extremely clever. If your having doubts about someone or if someone is making you feel as if your the problem when you might have an idea that it's the other way around. simple solution is to separate yourself from the person as quick as you can to collect your thoughts. Seperation is key to healing in situations like these. In some cases like mine my mom was a total bitch excuse my language and was very verbally and physically abusive to me; but the whole time I was growing up she made it seem like I was the problem. Once I read a book about psychopathic and narcissistic behavior I started to realize the situation I was in and it really helped me by telling me to seperate myself from my from who had been abusing me my whole entire life. Luckily for me I inherited some money right when I found out so I left and I haven't talked to her since. Don't get fed up with everyone's crap. People, places and things.

Narcissists = SELFISH. I've never lived with one but did date one. It was exhausting and unbalanced. If you're comfortable dealing with someone whos pretty much always only going to think about their own needs and wants at what ever the cost ...even if the cost meand hurting you ...then yea. If you're not comfortable dealing with someone like that then I would highly suggest you don't move in. Why? Things become slot more complicated with a narcissist when you're living with him/her. Hmm how can things be fair and balanced when one person is only thinking about themselves?
