Thank you everybody. He said he wants a wife for himself and a mother for his daughter. I understand it is a package deal and that is fine. Today we were texting and he said something weird to me. He said I am being passive with my texting and he said he was going to stop talking to me if things don't change. I was completely thrown off guard. It was a normal conversation and he flipped out on me. Needless to say I ended things. I figured if he could flip out at that then imagine something bigger. I had something I was concerned about like my visual impairment and other things.

I don't know that him necessarily saying he's looking for a wife and mom for his kid is necessarily a bad thing. I mean, it's at the very least being honest about his intentions. To me, that's no different than someone saying, I'm not looking for a wife or I don't want any kids. Say it all up front since it's better to know the person's expectations right away.

It's just that he clearly wants to move pretty fast on that considering his weirdness about the text messages, and THAT would be the red flag, to me.
