I live in Alabama and here we have clinic for people that does not have insurance. Last month they did my lab work for me and sent it to my endo. Today they called me and I have to go see them they want to discuss my endo. doctor. Not sure if they are gonna find me another one or help me get a discount or what but she said she would discuss it with me in person. This time I'm armed with the right questions and comments. I hope things work out cause at this point I'm confused from our last discussion. I do take the vit.d and the calcium and biotin Nat so I may be good there. I was doing good but the lasat three days all I want to do is sleep and sleep. O, did I mention sleep...lol This is why I hate raising my meds.

The bottom line was that we ALL agree on that you DO NOT dose on TSH when you have Grave's, You dose on how you feel and the FT's how they show when you feel good.

If a doc is worried about your bones, for what ever well or ill informed reason, let them advice you on how to supplement that.

NO biggy, it's that simple.

Just go to your clinic and let them do their story. You know how you feel at certain levels and you know where you want to be or what you still need to find out.

Ms. Natalie glad you responded I need a laugh, but I'm gonna see what happens. This is the first time in my life i have not had medical insurance and I'm gonna get what I need. There is to many programs out there you just spend time and look. No welfare programs there are grants for medical care. Bottom line is I was feeling great but now something is off, i just wanna sleep, next labs are 2/27 but may see if ai can get them Friday. E#veryone keep me laughing now cause I could use the pickup or maybe I need the cabana boy to just come by...

Hey Snippy, it could well mean you need a further dose adjustment. You felt initially good on the 5 mgs for awhile, now you might be slipping back to hypo again and need even less. I bet that's it. Please just don't let them go by tsh cause yours might still be low because of blocking antibodies. The wanting to sleep all the time seems like you're going back down again. Watch for other hypo symptoms you had before, muscle/joint pain etc..

My endorphines kick in and I am like a druggy on some kinds of heavy stuff, in seventh heaven. I love back rubs, no matter who gives them.

I'll tell you Nat, today I was feeling rather down, My Mom would have been 88 today, she died last March. When I read your reply to Snippy and then her reply back, then your reply to me, it made me laugh. Thanks you guys, I needed that! You lighten this board up quite a bit. We sometimes get too serious. A good sense of humor can help us feel better!

Sorry Brans too hear about your pain. It is so weird how we think about our lost ones often but on special days it hurts more. There is nothing to do about that pain, usually time will take the sharp edges off and we can counter act the pain with something good, like a makeshift cabana boy. Big Hugs Brans!

Like I explained before here in Alabama we have nonprofit medical care for people with no insurance. This morning I met with the social worker there and they are going to send me to to UAB medical center in Birmingham.I have to go home and complete some paperworkand FAX it to UAB and then they will set me an appointment. They s
Will send my to every dept. That I need to go to for six months. It will only cost me $35. A visit.All my lab work will be free and if admitted for any reason it will be 100% paid.Their end dept. has support groups and experts for nutrition to help you out. So Said I would know when my appointment is next week.

Snippy, that is great news and I truly hope that your new doctor is one you can work with. BTW I've had quite a chuckle about the cabana boy - hey I figure it this way I'm old but not that old....:)) Gotta have a little fun.
