At times life is not fair at all. I am upset with the shenanigans of this world and the unjust legal system. I must say, in time it all comes back to those without a heart, and the storm can become a whirldwind in 3 seconds flat. Why do some foster parents become so attached? I just do not think some need to be in the business. I know of fosters who have adopted many and at times enough is enough. Thank you to those who make homes, but when a good family member wants their relative child, fosters need to back off and move on.

Can you really steer the course of a kid's life without getting emotionally involved? Even a traumatized kid who has trouble trusting can spot sincerity.

I wonder if the compromise should run the other direction when family members are reunited. Losing that bond between foster and kid can be at least as traumatic as losing the original family bond. Children don't do well without bonded commitment, not even for a short foster stint. Allowing those bonds to grow instead of brutally cutting them can be a growth opportunity for all.

Just wondering. . .
In larger fact, every case is unique and needs thorough customization.

I realize it goes both ways. That is why a child with a good family needs to be with that family versus thrown into the foster care system. My point is a true foster needs to learn to let go, and not try and adopt a football team. Enough said.

It helps me to keep ^it^ personal. "A True Foster" covers allot of diverse territory in my world. The specific individuals causing me headaches and heartaches are seldom standardized.

Is there a particular foster family you are protesting?

    I was listening to George Birge radio on Pandora in my car yesterday.  It sounded good but the lyrics are so limited with country music.  I just couldn't hear another song about whiskey.  Now I'm listening to Tori Amos.  She is my female Elton John.  I love their lyrics!

    When i was in the ER February 16th 2025, i was being admitted to ICU where i was for 3 weeks, then had to relearn to walk for 3 weeks in another hospital rehab floor, the nurse told me something that made me feel for over 18 months now that i was finally *safe*. She told me that the guy who raped and beat me 21 years ago now  almost 20 years at that time, was in prison as of a month before that...
